I have a daughter. Her father and I have joint custody. I work and have always had income. He has no income and hasn't for several years. He has been the one claiming her for the past few years or at least his wife has. They have been married for several year and so have I. I claimed her for my 2009 taxes and he wants to claim her for the 2010 tax year. Can he do this if he has no income? Or can his wife if she is the one with the income in their household?

My husband and I have lived apart for over a year now and have been unable to divorce due to financial reasons. My boyfriend moved in with me and are buying a house completely with my own money and I want to know if my husband has a chance of getting to own part of the house I am buying. I am in Georgia.

I have joint custody with child mother, but i am primary custodial parent. i had a dispute with my two teenager and the 11yrs old son did not like me when i blew my head gasket, but nothing was said toward him. i had threat to kick 17yr but when turn 18yr of age. so now the 11yr old wants to live with his mother. and that we are not a happy family. that what my 11yrs old had told grandparents and his mother. so the mother insistence on keeping him even thought i am primary custodian.

My husband attained a divorce without me being present. He not only was able to pay minimal support but add a clause stating that he be able to claim our children on his taxes even though i am the custodial parent and i contribute more than half for their needs. Obviously not being present, i did not sign the decree. How can i legally claim my children and do I have any recourse for the past 4 years?

I am engaged to someone in Louisiana that makes about the same amount of money as my ex. Can my ex go after my fiance's money to reduce child support or not give me the property settlement?

my son's father lives in CO and we live in NY. He owes me over $4400 in child support. I am the custodial parent. He wants me to claim our son on my income tax and told me that by allowing me to claim our child that will make up for the money he owes me. Is this correct?

My wife had an affair with another man a year ago.
I guess...she was in a year sexual relationship with him.
I have no proof of my wife cheating on me and I am living in Colorado(No-Fault-Divorce)state though...
We have been married for more than 12 years, we have no kid.
Does court consider my wife's adultery when deliberating property distribution and alimony,if I mention it!?
It is too bad to give her half of marriage property including house, and pay alimony for 4 years.
My income is three times than her, and my all property is ten times than her savings, IRA and so on...
Will I have to give her half of marriage property, and alimony?
