My son-in-law recieved a pension. This all took place while they were married. When they went to put it in a cd they said only his name could be on it. Why is that when they were married when he worked there. My thought is she can’t stop him from pulling it all out when it is the property of both.
My husband is buying things and putting these assets in his daughters name so that I can not have those items upon his death if he should pass on before me. The reason for this is because he does not want my son to get anything. We have been married for over 30 years. We have been in our home since 1972. He is hiding assets. He even took my name off his checking account and put his daughters name on it. How can I protect my property that we have accumulated for the 30 years of marriage. We have 2 children and I have 3 children. He has 2 grandchildren and I have 6 grandchildren.
