So you are defending Valhalkarie's comments? Because she is the one I was replying to.
Hi! I have an eight year old step-daughter who has a cell phone. She started texting me one day and I replied but later that evening received nasty text from her mother. On her birthday, I sent her a text telling her happy birthday from me and her half brother and half sister, and again received nasty messages from her mother threatening me with “pressing charges” if I text her again. She resides in WV and I live in NC. Do I have any rights as a step-mother and can she press charges against me for contacting my step-daughter? Thank you.
