Robin Wright Penn and Sean Penn Divorce: It’s Back On 0

About: Entertainers

Sean Penn and Robin Wright PennRobin Wright Penn filed for divorce from her husband, actor Sean Penn. Again. The Princess Bride and Forrest Gump actress filed paperwork in Marin County, California last week – the third time in the last two years that this couple has been in family court.

This time, Wright Penn’s filing states that “both parties have already agreed to [shared] custody” over their minor son, Hopper Jack, and that “the estranged couple have already agreed to division of all property.” She did not request spousal support.

The Penns have been together since 1989, married since 1996. They have two kids – 18-year-old Dylan (headed to college) and 16-year-old Hopper.

Penn originally filed for divorce back in December 2007. Wright Penn filed her own case that month as well. Those cases were ultimately dismissed, as the couple reconciled. Penn was back in court in April of this year, filing for legal separation. That case was dismissed as well.

In an interview released Monday, the actress told More magazine that she had no plans to reconcile with her husband. “I hit that crossroad a while ago,” she said. “I know what I don’t want.”
