Before anyone even knew they were separated, Dixie Chick Emily Robison and her musician husband of nine years, Charlie Robison, were divorced this week in Bexar County, Texas. Charlie apparently filed for divorce eight months ago but the case went under the media’s radar until it was finalized yesterday in San Antonio.

The divorce appears to have been granted under “no-fault” provisions of Texas family law. The divorce petition reportedly cited “discord or a conflict of personalities” as grounds for the divorce.

The couple married in 1999 and have three children: Gus, age 6 and twins Julianna and Henry, who are 3 years old. No disclosure was made to the public regarding any terms of the divorce
settlement including child support, child custody or property division.

UPDATE: I just took a look at the divorce decree on TMZ. Looks like the Robisons settled the case through mediation, sharing child custody equally with no award of child support to either parent. Details of the property settlement were kept under wraps.
