About: Entertainers

Danny & Gretchen BonaduceFormer child actor and current radio/reality show trainwreck Danny Bonaduce is officially divorced from his wife of 18 years, Gretchen Bonaduce. The settlement papers were filed and the divorce granted in Los Angeles earlier this week.

Bonaduce agreed to pay $6,000 a month in child support and $10,000 a month in alimony.  The former couple has two children, 13 year old Isabella and 7 year old Dante. The court documents indicate that they will be sharing joint legal custody and joint physical custody of the kids. Court records also indicate that Bonaduce makes $500,000 for his radio hosting gig with CBS and made $280,000 for his involvement with the VH1 show I Know My Kid’s A Star.

The settlement papers also indicated that the parties basically split their assets, including the standard residences and brokerage accounts. The more interesting items listed in the settlement include gold bullion purchased from proceeds of the sale of a vehicle and rights to an as-yet-unproduced reality show called … The Next Mrs. Bonaduce. God help us.

Bonaduce, of course, first became famous as Danny Partridge – the middle child in the late-60’s/early 70’s TV show The Partridge Family. His career faded after that series ended. In the late 80’s and early 90’s, Bonaduce established a new career as an on-air radio personality. He slowly made his way back into television and, in 2005 and 2006, starred with Gretchen in the reality show Breaking Bonaduce on VH1.

Breaking Bonaduce revealed Bonaduce’s substance abuse and anger issues and ultimately documented the failure of his marriage. He and Gretchen actually married the night they met on a blind date in 1990. Gretchen filed for divorce in April 2007.
